2009 marks the 82nd Anniversary of the staging of the Wittenoom Cup Carnival, a sensational 10 days of golf that is arguably the State's largest and most successful mixed handicap carnival of the year. Many golfers and their families make this time of year "holiday time" and enjoy all the delights that Albany and The Great Southern can provide.
The actual Wittenoom Cup is a 36 Hole handicap event played in conjunction with the Brenda Wittenoom Open for women, in Stroke format. In 2009 Round 1 will be held on Saturday 24th January 2009 and Round 2 on Sunday 25th January 2009.
We look forward to catching up with those who have played at the Carnival over many years and to meeting those who are coming for the first time.
