Functions at the Albany Golf Club

The Albany Golf Club's superb National Award winning clubhouse with stunning views of the King George Sound makes it arguably the most sought after function venue in the region.

Equally excellent as a daytime or nighttime venue, word of mouth advertising has resulted in the Club already being consistently booked throughout the year at all times of the week both during the day and evening.

Many succesful functions have been held and highlights include a sumptuous dinner for the Governor General of Australia's recent visit to Albany, many highly regarded wedding receptions through to regular day seminars by many government organisations including the Department of Premier and Cabinet.

The Club has a full Liquor License and there is ample parking and disability access into the main clubroom.

Venue Hire

There are two spaces available for hire, the main clubroom and a conference/seminar/meeting room. The main clubroom is suitable for larger functions and takes in sweeping views of King George Sound.

Please contact Davida to organise catering for functions as required. We can recommend a range of catering options that can be customised to meet individual needs.


The Functions Coordinator and the Club's bar staff can organise various alcohol and beverage packages to suit clients requirements from consumption based to hourly or is happy to tailor packages to meet indivdual needs.

Venue Hire

The Albany Golf Club has a number of well-equipped spaces available for hire with ample parking and disability access. Please see Conditions of Hire below.

Main Club Room

This space accommodates up to 100 seated guests and up to 140 for theatre style or cocktail style function, includes access to outside balcony.
As the main clubroom requires resetting for the use of Club members a room set up fee is applicable for bookings requiring a non-standard set up. 

Extended licences are available for a cost of $150.

Full Day - $500

Half Day - $300 (up to 4 hours)

Evening - $500 (5pm to 10pm)

Prices include PA system, data projector and screen, whiteboard, lectern and microphone. 

Upstairs Conference/Seminar/Meeting Room

  • Suitable for meetings, small workshops or seminars and training sessions.

  • $150 for full day, $100 for half day (up to 4 hours)

  • This space will accommodate up to 12 guests in a conference format.

  • Included equipment - screen and whiteboard.

Full Day - $150
