Maiden Victory to Eddy’s rebranded Pin Seekers Team and a rough start once again for the Rough Riders
The Rough Riders managed to scrape through to win two of the three matchups but the great Wildcard score from Dave James turned one of the matchips and handed to 2 to 1 victory to the Pin Seekers.
Victory to All The President’s Men. A new team founded by our very own club president George.
In a close match each team won one matchup with the middle matchup drawn
In a drawn Match both Wildcards were eligible to be used and when they were applied Mal Parker’s -3 score prevailed turning it into a 2 to 1 victory to All The President’s Men.
Another close match saw the Wildcard’s in use again.
Ascan managed an unlikely victory along with Nico to give the Pirates a sniff of treasure. Unfortunately for them Craig Anning’s Wildcard score turned one of the matchups and handed victory to the Amity Splitters. Aaaarrrr!
In a very close final match Captains of Vice secured their Maiden victory
The Captains of Vice were looking sitting pretty on an initial 2-1 score until Luka’s -2 score turned it into a tied contest. Due to rule 1.2.154, which states “Wildcard’s can not be used on a matchup that your team had originally won”…. or something like that, the Captain’s could not overturn the now drawn first matchup
Fortunately for them, in a tied Match the first countback is the Wildcard’s Score where Jeff’s -1 beat Luka’s -2 handing the Win back to the Captains of Vice.
