The Denmarkians arrived with a bang in a super close match against the top-of-the-table Pin Seekers.

Horrie Wallis was the stand out getting his team the extra win, along with the two tied matches. The Wildcards each successfully turned one of the tied matches into a win, but ultimately neutralized each other, so that the Denmarkians emerged with a 2 - 1 Victory.

Another close round saw All The President’s Men victorious over the Morning Players.

After an out of character sleep-in that saw them miss the first round, The Morning Players, were ready to make an impact. However, Ron Abbott managed to turn an initial 2.5 vs 0.5 score line into a 1.5 vs 1.5 draw. When there is a Draw the first order of countback is the Wildcard Score where Ron Abbott again had the goods to get the Win for his team.

It was another lack luster performance from last seasons champions. The Rough Riders never really found the short grass and despite a solid effort from Mal Parker, their Captain failed to perform as Wildcard and wasn’t able to over turn the initial 2-1 deficit.

Another solid start by Amity Splitters getting back to back wins under the leadership of their new Captain Craig Anning.

The Puffed Team has secured another dominant win with a 2.5 to 0.5 victory of Kerry’s Kings.

Greg Stocks secured the Best Gross Score and 4th overall on his way to setting up a solid victory for his team, when combined with Glynn’s own 36pts and 3rd place overall finish they are emerging as the team to beat early on in the Autumn Sling.

Despite their Wildcard, Mike Draper, managing to steal a point for his team, the initial 3-0 score line in favour of the Captains of Vice was insurmountable.

Jeff managed to equal Mike’s 30 pts but since Wildcards can only be used on matches that have been lost or drawn in regular play, there was nothing for him to do, as his team went back to back with another 2-1 win. Leaving the Pirates to keep scouring the seven seas for their first sniff of victory.
